Leat, the lamp of November
DETAILS:
A leat is an artificial water trench, that usually conducts water towards a mill. This lamp is an experiment to see how viscous melted glass gets in the kiln, and if I could get the glass to flow down the channel I carved in the lamp base. The glass is lit up by the light above. A handsome lamp.
The base is made from Pink Grogged Clay, glazed with Iron Oxide slip and melted Sea Glass.
Wired with electric components that have not been tested and tagged. Standard UK socket. Please note: This piece will be tested and tagged upon sale.
Electric fired.
