A small wheel-thrown sculptural Ikebana vase with a wide rim. The Yawning Ikebana have a small opening for flowers instead of a kenzan/frog. Fill it all the way to the rim for a sparse Ikebana arrangement, or use as a traditional vase. Inspired by the Nageire-hanaire Ikebana.
The Floral society says: Nageire-hanaire Ikebana vases are shorter and wider, with a mouth that flares outward. It is designed for the "Nageire" style of ikebana, where flowers are arranged by tossing them casually into the vase.
