Kurinuki is a Japanese term referring to the handbuilding technique of starting with a solid block of clay and hollowing it out to create an interior. Each container is completely different, and requires the user to open and close in a specific way.

  • Alexanders is glazed with walnut Tenmoku, clear ash crackle and dark walnut.

  • Made from marbled clay: Foraged Padstow, Porcelain and Grogged Pink.
