A wheel-thrown sculptural Ikebana vase with a wide rim. The Throat Ikebana have an inbuilt kenzan/frog in the base of the vase. Fill it all the way to the rim for a floating Ikebana arrangement.
The Floral society says: Nageire-hanaire Ikebana vases are shorter and wider, with a mouth that flares outward. It is designed for the "Nageire" style of ikebana, where flowers are arranged by tossing them casually into the vase.

Brockabarrow is glazed with clear crackle Mora Farm ash outside, and Padstow clay and South Chapel Barn ash out.
