A small wheel-thrown sculptural Ikebana vase with a wide rim. The Yawning Ikebana have a small opening for flowers instead of a kenzan/frog. Fill it all the way to the rim for a sparse Ikebana arrangement, or use as a traditional vase. Inspired by the Nageire-hanaire Ikebana.
The Floral Society says: Nageire-hanaire Ikebana vases are shorter and wider, with a mouth that flares outward. It is designed for the "Nageire" style of ikebana, where flowers are arranged by tossing them casually into the vase.

Soft Rush is glazed with crackle Kuan outside, with clear ash glaze and Nuka inside.
