Darker Rock Velvet takes its name from Aotearoa’s Codium Convolutum (Darker Rock Velvet) seaweed, with the collection echoing the intertidal zones of Banks Peninsula and Te Waipounamu. Small amounts of local clays, sands and materials foraged from around Banks Peninsula are imbued in many of the pieces.
